The shipping speed for this item was excellent, but this IS NOT a 73Wh high capacity battery.... simply a standard battery. I am charging it now, and will provide feedback on the battery life later. For the extra money I was willing to go for the high capaity option compared to equally competitive batteries out here, so I recommend going for a lower price purchase to get the same thing.

"Great Style, Fast, But Low Battery Life!!!" 2010-06-16

I bought this laptop a few days ago and so far it's great!

PROS:

01. Sleek Design

02. HP Quick Web - very cool feature, where you don't need to load Windows 7 or your operating system in order to access everyday stuff like internet and email, music, dvds etc... It saves you battery.

03. Fast - Runs multiple programs at once without or with little lag.

04. For the price, the Graphics are good and you can play games fine, but don't try to run anything major.

05. Finally a laptop that comes with great preloaded software!!! Hulu, Mediasmart just to name a few...

06. Nice size. Not too small and not too big.

07. Even though the exterior is glossy, this white version don't show up fingerprints as the case with other black HPs.

08. It's quite light to carry around. U can take out the DVD drive and replace with a "dummy drive" to make it up to 1/2 pound lighter.

09. Keyboard - Very comfortable keyboard. No problems... It also has a numeric keypad embedded into the alpha keyboard. Doesn't replace your typical standalone keypad, but it comes in handy sometimes.

CONS:

01. Limited Battery Life - I got about 2 hours with Windows 7 browsing the internet. I am considering purchasing a 12 cell battery replacement.

02. The touchpad is glossy and can take some getting used too. But I don't think that it should be a deal breaker since it can easily replaced with a wireless mouse.

I would recommend this computer for someone who wants a fast entertainment pc that has a great screen and is light enough to carry around.

"Good quality - Long cord" 2010-06-29

This product is of good quality as it a manufacturer (HP) product. The cord description mentions "extra long" and that is no understatement. The product ships with two (2) power cords. One is the standard length that came with the computer purchase the other is 10' I believe. Either may be used to plug in to the one (1) charger of standard length that is shipped, so interchanging is very easy. This gives a total length of about 15' when using the long cord.

The two best features are a) it is an HP product and b) the length of the extra long cord. Definitely worth the extra $10 or so in my book.

My little laptop case fits my laptop, gives me space to carry disks, cords, cooler fan and the strap is the perfect length if I don't want to use the double handles. It came very quickly. I would recommend this case and this seller to anyone.

I looked high and low for a nice case to fit and protect my Moonlight White HP Pavilion dv7t (17.3" widescreen). This was the best I could find. While I absolutely LOVE the look and functionality of the case, it's actually a little large. (I couldn't believe that!) It's a PERFECT FIT from side-to-side without even being too snug. However, it's about an inch or more too tall. The case has elastic straps to hold your computer in on the bottom side and clear plastic ones to go across the top (as to not obstruct your screen). This is fine except I noticed after a short while with little use that the clear plastic straps began making scratches on my brand new computer! I'm NOT happy with this. Now, when I use it, I only use it to move the laptop from room-to-room, and I do not utilize the plastic straps. There is nothing I can do about the damage done to my new computer. Thankfully, it is not very noticeable.

Other positives about the bag are the detachable shoulder strap, and the ability to use your laptop while it's in the bag, if you choose to do so. The zippers have a little metal loop on them that could be used with a padlock to lock your case inside. (I plan to do this!)
